Winter Unit Study, Day 4

Today had a bigger concentration on math. I found neat winter themed math worksheets for the kids to do. AJ got to do something new in math today- find the missing number. 3 + ____ = 9. It was the first time she has EVER said math was hard. It was kinda cute hearing her utter- in her sweet voice- that this was harder than she thought!

Fruit loops are good for SOMETHING!!!

Nothing like three digit subtraction! She did well! Only missed two where she forgot something!

We talked some more about polar bears and then made our own- this is Isaiah's polar bear, before we cut them out!

Faith did not make any photos because this was not her day... It took us 10 minutes to work on three simple math problems. We're struggling in math here and we're trying to figure out the best way to teach her and exactly what she needs. It's the only subject she struggles so greatly on.
