Why Drink Red Rasperry Leaf Tea

Red raspberry leaf tea is a staple at my house.

I think most people recognize the benefits of red raspberry leaf in pregnant women, but honestly, it can benefit everyone!

According to Bulk Herb Store "Red Raspberry is not only great for mamas, it is wonderful for their whole family. It is filled with essential minerals and vitamins like magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, vitamin C, E, A and B complex. It also contains easily assimilated calcium and iron. Red Raspberry can make a real difference in your whole family’s health."

Let's see... vitamin C? Good for the immune system, good cold fighter!
Magnesium? How about works to avert osteoporosis! Decreases the risk of developing type 2 diabetes! Treats depression.

B Complex? Energy! Healthy hair, nail, and skin! and here's a big one.... healthy nervous system!

I could go on, but let's talk more about the specific benefits of red raspberry leaf.

It helps reduce cramps during the menstrual cycle, supports the adrenals during menopause, and yes, helps the pregnant woman greatly by toning the uterus!

A couple of years ago my friend, Jill, from Jill's Home Remedies, wrote a guest post for me, 4 ways to grow healthy girls, and gives a shout out to red raspberry leaf in young growing girls and how it will actually help balance their hormones which helps fight acne, irritability, and menstrual problems!

In my house, I make red raspberry leaf tea by using red raspberry leaf, nettles, and peppermints. Both the boys and the girls drink it, too! We drink it for the vitamins and minerals and my young girls drink it to help as they grow!

Do you use red raspberry leaf?

I'm interested in the tea! Where do you find it?? I already grow a variety of mints to pair with. :) I've heard of red raspberry leaf tea but figured it was for pregnancy only. I'm glad I'm wrong! :)
